Get in touch
By email, phone (voicemail) or WhatsApp; every enquiry is answered within one working day. A family member may make the first contact; the assessment itself needs your own agreement.
We confirm the fee and the waiting time. You can already download the Pre-Assessment Form and complete it at home: it saves time during the appointment and helps Dr Szigeti tailor your care from the first meeting.

Your GP and the form
Your GP’s referral letter is handed in when you meet or sent through the encrypted upload link we provide, never as an email attachment; with your consent, your GP can also send it to us directly through Healthmail, the health service’s secure email. Without a letter, your GP’s details are enough: Dr Szigeti will contact them. While you wait, your GP remains responsible for your care.
The Pre-Assessment Form helps Dr Szigeti understand your story before you meet. Write as much or as little as you like. Hand it in when you meet, or return it through the encrypted upload link we send you: the file is encrypted on your own device and only Dr Szigeti can open it. Please do not send it by email or WhatsApp.

The assessment
One hour, in person in Dún Laoghaire or by secure video: your story, your health, what has been tried before and what you want from treatment. You are welcome to bring someone with you. Every appointment, from this first one to the follow-ups, is with Dr Szigeti himself.
For ADHD, this first stage is a general psychiatric assessment; a second one-hour stage follows, with rating scales and an account from someone who knows you well.

Findings and next steps
The findings are explained clearly, whether or not a diagnosis is made, and the plan is agreed with you: therapy, medication, both, or, for depression that has not responded to medication, tDCS or, by referral to a colleague, rTMS. Assessments end with a written summary or report within two weeks, and with your consent a letter goes to your GP. Follow-ups last thirty minutes.
All treatment options are discussed with you before anything is prescribed or started, including their risks and benefits.
Video appointments
Anywhere in Ireland, Monday to Thursday; you can mix in-person and video appointments. A link arrives by email beforehand. Consultations are never recorded; with your agreement, they are transcribed by Heidi, a medical AI scribe, so that Dr Szigeti can draft his notes, which he reviews himself. You can decline at any time.
